Pinkbike | Red Bull Rampage 2023
One of the most memorable years in the history of the event, Red Bull Rampage 2023 was one for the books. Between a seamless live stream and iconic sends like Cam Zink’s Icon Sender Backflip, Brendog’s spicy top-to-bottom line, and Bienvenido Aguado’s legendary canyon gap front flip and much more, it was an incredible moment to capture in freeride mountain bike history. The Pinkbike team worked from before the sun came up to well after it set each night to capture every moment via photo, video, editorial, and social media and bring the magic of Red Bull Rampage to the public.
Kama Surface Co | Poco Launch
Created originally as a yoga mat made to practice anywhere, no matter the terrain, Kama Surface Co makes multipurpose, origami style adventure mats. While their original product is suited to traveling shorter distances, they created the Poco as an ultralite mini mat. At just under a pound, fiercely durable, and filled with a marine-grade closed cell foam that floats, the number of uses for the Poco is literally endless. We sought to capture some of these uses as a picnic companion by a lake, a protective changing mat for your drysuit socks, and a must-have for ski tours, long and short.
Kings & Queens of Corbet’s 2023
Big mountain meets slopestyle in the classic Jackson Hole freeride competition, Kings and Queens of Corbet’s. In a unique format that invites skiers and snowboarders from near and far, Kings and Queens tests athletes abilities to huck off both the famous, natural feature that is Corbet’s Couloir and their proficiency to hit a park jump at the bottom of the hill. Variable snow and visibility along with a live crowd watching from the base of the couloir make this event equally exciting to shoot and watch.
Sweet Protection | FW24
A brand at the forefront of protective equipment in the ski, bike, and paddling space, and a brand near and dear to my heart, shooting a portion of Sweet Protection’s FW24 colorways was a dream. Alongside Jackson Hole based athletes Max Martin & Madison Rose Ostergren and cinematographer Joey Sackett, we spent a day finding all the best conditions Jackson Hole had to offer and highlighting Sweet Protection’s line of killer goggles, helmets, and outwear.
FREESKIER Magazine | Ski Test 2024
The legendary ski industry party that is FREESKIER Magazine’s ski test graced the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in March of 2023. Testers from near and far came to try all the newest skis from brands like 4FRNT, Volkl, Black Crows, Icelantic, Faction, Blizzard, and more. Four days of testing with four days of après and evening events culminated in the annual FREESKIER Gala. Along with their backcountry test later in the season, images and reviews from testers now grace 191 print pages of the FREESKIER Buyer’s Guide.
